2018 JCC Rockland Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 JCC Rockland Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Nanuet Stadium 12 & RPX from Tuesday, April 3 to Monday, April 30.

This year’s JCC Rockland Film Festival will feature 16 films from across the world with a wide variety of genres including documentaries, comedies, dramas and animation.

The festival is part of the JCC Rockland which is dedicated to the enrichment and continuity of Jewish life and the preservation and celebration of its rich heritage.

2018 Sarasota Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Sarasota Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Hollywood 20 from Saturday, April 14 to Sunday, April 22.

Celebrating its 20th iteration, the festival is often recognized as a world-class platform for thought-provoking films from some of the best known and emerging independent films. The festival also prides itself on its partnerships with many non-profit, corporate and cultural organizations within the Sarasota community through a multitude of different opportunities throughout the year.

2018 Tribeca Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Battery Park Stadium 11 from Wednesday, April 18 to Sunday, April 29.

One of the largest and most distinguished film festivals in North America, the Tribeca Film Festival is a haven for movie lovers to come and see the best in up-and-coming and established filmmakers. The 2017 version of the festival featured almost 300 films and TV shows from nearly 40 countries.

Founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff focusing itself in the Tribeca neighborhood in lower Manhattan, the inaugural festival was attended by more than 150,000 people and has only seen itself grow in the subsequent years.

2018 Indie Meme Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Indie Meme Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Arbor 8 @ Great Hills from Thursday, April 19 to Sunday, April 22.

The Indie Meme Film Festival is an award-winning festival that celebrates excellent cinema, filmmaker interactions, panels, parties, networking and discussions.

The festival is a part of the non-profit Indie Meme, which seeks to promote socially relevant independent cinema from South Asia. They do this in an effort to influence social and cultural awareness and consciousness, and encourage and facilitate dialogue by bringing together different communities in the hopes of understanding and building a globally conscious community.

2018 OUTshine Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 OUTshine Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal South Beach Stadium 18 & IMAX from Saturday, April 21 to Sunday, April 29.

Originally christened the MiFo LGBT Film Festival in 2015 after the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival merged, the OUTshine Film Festival serves as a platform for numerous premieres and is the largest LGBT cultural arts event in South Florida.

2018 Overlook Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Overlook Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Cinebarre Canal Place 9 from Thursday, April 19 to Sunday, April 22.

One of the top horror festivals in the country, the Overlook Film Festival makes its move to New Orleans after its inaugural bow in northern Oregon. The 2017 version of the festival featured over 20 of the top horror films from across the world. In addition, the festival features many other events and experiences throughout the week.

The festival, which calls itself a “summer camp for genre fans,” seeks to bring the best of horror in all its forms to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience within an intimate and inspirational environment.

2018 Newport Beach Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Newport Beach Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Edwards Big Newport 6 & RPX from Thursday, April 26 to Thursday, May 3.

The Newport Beach Film Festival routinely features over 350 films across its 8-day fest, with a wide variety of genres and styles ranging from narratives, documentaries and shorts to action sports, environmental and, even, music videos.

Founded in 1999, the Newport Beach Film Festival seeks to bring the best of classic and contemporary filmmaking from around the world to Orange County and more than 55,000 attendees.

2018 54 Film Fest - Knoxville

Regal is proud to host the 2018 54 Film Fest – Knoxville. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Downtown West 8 on Saturday, April 28.

The 54 Film Fest is a timed film competition in which filmmakers have 54 hours to write, film, edit and submit a four to seven-minute film.

Originally founded in Knoxville, this festival/competition is designed to help local filmmakers develop their creative talent, network with other filmmakers and be inspired to create better films, all within a competitive environment.

2018 Nashville Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Nashville Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Hollywood 27 from Wednesday, May 9 to Sunday, May 20.

Often cited as one of the top festivals in the United States, the Nashville Film Festival has Academy Award-qualifying status and routinely features some of the best films that the independent, documentaries, short films and world cinema have to offer.

Founded in 1969, the festival was originally known as the Sinking Creek Film Celebration before changing its name to the Nashville Independent Film Festival and then, in 2003, to Nashville Film Festival.

2018 Nepal America Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Nepal America International Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Hyattsville Royale Stadium 14 from Saturday, May 19 to Sunday, May 20.

Seeking to bridge Nepali and American culture through film, NAIFF will feature films primarily from Nepal made by Nepali and non-Nepali filmmakers as well as films made in South Asia, America and other parts of the globe.

The festival is made possible by the Nepal American Film Society which strongly believes that cinema represents the most powerful medium for portraying diverse stories of the various communities around the world.

2018 Knoxville Film Festival

Regal is proud to host the 2018 Knoxville Film Festival. This year’s festival will be at the Regal Downtown West 8 on September 14 & 15.

Originally founded as the Secret City Film Festival, the festival moved to Knoxville in 2013 and became the largest and most complete film festival in the Eastern Tennessee region.

Now in its 15th year, the Knoxville Film Festival routinely screens its films from across the country to nearly 4000 attendees.
