Eligibility and Enrollment
Am I eligible for the Subscription Program? What if I'm a minor?
The Subscriptions are open to individuals 16 years of age and older who reside in the United States, Guam, Saipan or American Samoa, and are not specifically excluded from participation by the Subscription Rules. Individuals who are minors in their state of residence must have their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enroll and participate in the Subscription Program.
How do I become a Subscription Program member?
Can I enroll in person at a Regal theatre? How about on Regal’s website?
Unfortunately, no. You must enroll via the App.
Do I need an active Crown Club account in order to enroll? What about to use my Subscription?
You do not need an active Crown Club account to enroll. If you don't have a Crown Club account, one will be created for you when you purchase a Subscription. (Remember, Crown Club accounts are free!) However, you must have an active Crown Club account in order to use your Subscription (e.g., obtain admission tickets) after enrollment.
Why do I need to provide Regal with a photo of myself?
The photograph will be used by Regal for identification and fraud prevention purposes when you obtain and/or present admission tickets at the theatre, or use your Subscription Pass to enjoy other Subscription Program discounts and benefits. The photo must be a “head and shoulders” portrait photograph (similar to a driver’s license or other photo ID) that clearly reflects your current appearance.
Can I enroll if I already have an active Crown Club account?
Yep! Log in to your Crown Club account to complete enrollment.
I enrolled but can’t find my Subscription Pass. Where is it?
Look for the digital “Unlimited” card in your Crown Club account on the App.
I’m new to the Crown Club. Where can I find more information about it?
General Information About Your Subscription
Is there a minimum Subscription term length?
Yes. Each Subscription has an initial, non-cancelable term of either three months or one year (depending on which plan you choose), subject to certain limited exceptions set forth in the Subscription Rules.
Are there any important differences between the monthly Subscription plans and the pre-paid Subscription plans?
There are a couple of important differences:
- The monthly plan will be billed on a monthly basis until it is cancelled. Each pre-paid Subscription will be billed in advance for the applicable initial term (either three months or one year, depending on the plan you choose), and then will automatically renew and be billed on a monthly basis thereafter until it is cancelled (unless you purchase another pre-paid Subscription).
- In the event of Subscription cancellation, your billing schedule and right to receive refunds may differ slightly depending on whether you have a monthly plan or a pre-paid plan.
Can I use the same mobile app as I do for the Crown Club?
Yes. Both programs use the Regal Cinemas mobile application.
What happens if I change mobile devices?
If you change mobile devices, access to your Subscription will be disabled on your old device and must be activated on your new device. Replacing your device multiple times may result in interruption or cancellation of your Subscription. Please contact Customer Relations to discuss any issues with your Subscription that occur when changing your device.
How can I manage my Subscription?
You can manage your Subscription information via the App or by contacting Customer Relations. Payment methods must be changed via the App.
How will Regal communicate with me regarding my Subscription?
Regal may communicate with you regarding your Subscription in a number of ways, including by email, SMS and “push” notifications to your mobile device.
Can someone else use my Subscription?
No. Your Subscription and Subscription Pass may be used to make reservations and obtain admission tickets for use only by you.
Can I obtain a physical Subscription Pass?
No. Your Subscription Pass is digital only and located in the App.
Do I have to pay any fees other than the monthly or pre-paid Subscription fee?
- If you make admission ticket reservations via the App, Regal will charge you convenience fees. (A reduced convenience fee of $0.50 (plus applicable taxes) will apply per Subscription Program ticket.) Convenience fees and applicable taxes are subject to change at any time in Regal’s sole discretion.
- If you want to use your Subscription to obtain admission tickets for (i) premium format showtimes (e.g., ScreenX, 4DX, IMAX, RPX, 3D, and VIP), (ii) theatres not included in your Subscription plan (“Restricted Theatres”) or (iii) eligible movie event showtimes (e.g., marathons, double features and fan events), you will be required to pay a surcharge. All showtimes may be subject to an additional surcharge for premium seating.
- Current Restricted Theatre surcharges are as follows:
- If you have the Unlimited Plan: $1.50 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited Plus Plan, and $3.00 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited All Access Plan.
- If you have the Unlimited Plus Plan: $1.50 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited All Access Plan.
- Regal may change any surcharges at any time in its sole discretion, with or without notice to you.
- Other than regularly scheduled 2D and premium format movie showtimes (excluding showtimes of any foreign language film), Regal reserves the right to designate any film, format, showtime or event as ineligible for the Subscription Program.
Can I upgrade my Subscription plan to a more expensive plan?
Yes. Please contact Customer Assistance at https://www.regmovies.com/rcc/contact-us to request the change. Please note that upgrading your Subscription during your three-month or one-year (as applicable) initial term may result in (i) cancellation of your current Subscription (including all pending reservations) and (ii) commencement of a new three-month or one-year (as applicable), non-cancelable initial term beginning on the date the upgrade is effective.
I missed my Subscription payment. Can I still use my Subscription Pass?
No. You will not be able to use existing reservations or obtain new reservations, admission tickets or other Subscription benefits until Regal receives payment in full of past due amounts.
What does the Subscription Program cost?
Subscription fees are as follows for the one-year plans:
- Unlimited Plan: Plan: $18.99/month + tax or a pre-paid fee of $227.88 + tax
- Unlimited Plus Plan: $21.99/month + tax or a pre-paid fee of $263.88 + tax

- Unlimited All Access Plan: $23.99/month + tax or a pre-paid fee of $71.97 + tax
Subscription fees are subject to change at any time in Regal’s sole discretion, but any increase will not affect the Subscription fees payable for the one-year or three-month (as applicable) initial term.
Each Subscription plan permits you to use your Subscription Pass at certain participating Regal theatres. Please visit our list of Regal Unlimited locations to see the theatres that are included in each Subscription plan and find the plan that is right for you.

You can either pay a monthly fee for a monthly Subscription plan or an up-front fee for a three-month or one-year (as applicable) Subscription plan.
Can I change my Subscription’s billing plan (i.e., monthly vs. pre-paid)?
Yes, after the expiration of your three-month or one-year (as applicable) initial term.
Can I change my Subscription’s billing plan (i.e., monthly vs. annual)?
Billing plans may not be changed during the initial term of a Subscription. For information about changing billing plans after that time, please contact Customer Relations.
Using Your Subscription
Where can I use my Subscription?
Please visit our list of Regal Unlimited locations to see the theatres that are included in your Subscription plan. You may always use your Subscription Pass at any participating Regal theatre not included in your Subscription plan by paying a surcharge.
What can I do with my Subscription?
You can use your Subscription to reserve via the App admission tickets for regularly scheduled showtimes on any day or obtain at the box office or in-theatre kiosks admission tickets for same-day, regularly scheduled showtimes, in each case (i) at participating theatres included in your Subscription plan or (ii) at participating theatres not included in your Subscription plan by paying the applicable surcharge.
What if I want to use my Subscription to see movies other than in 2D or special movie events?
You can! You just have to pay a surcharge for premium format showtimes (e.g., ScreenX, 4DX, IMAX, RPX, 3D, and VIP) and eligible movie event showtimes (e.g., marathons, double features and fan events).
Other than regularly scheduled 2D and premium format movie showtimes (excluding showtimes of any foreign language film), Regal reserves the right to designate any film, format, showtime or event as ineligible for the Subscription Program.
Is there any surcharge for premium seating?
Yes, depending on the premium seating.
Are there any Regal showtimes for which I can’t use my Subscription Pass?
Yes. All non-movie showtimes and events (such as Fathom Events, MET Opera, concerts, private screenings and sporting events) are excluded from the Subscription Program. Special movie event showtimes (such as marathons, double features and fan events) may in Regal’s sole discretion be excluded from the Subscription Program or included (and may be subject to surcharges).
Is there a limit on how many reservations I can have at any one time?
Yes. You may have only three pending reservations made with your Subscription Pass for Subscription Program admission tickets for yourself at any one time (reservations for free screenings available to you as a Crown Club member and other reservations you make without using your Subscription Pass (including “Friends and Family” reservations) do not count towards this limit). (For example: if you have booked a reservation for three pending showtimes, you may not make another reservation until after you attend one of the reserved showtimes.) Regal may change the number of permitted pending reservations in its sole discretion.
Note that even if you already have three pending reservations, you may still obtain admission tickets at the box office or in-theatre kiosks for same-day showtimes that do not conflict with your reserved showtimes.
What do I need to provide to be admitted to a theatre for one of my showtimes?
To gain admission to a theatre, you must present to the usher (i) your valid admission ticket (either a printed ticket from the box office or an in-theatre kiosk or a digital ticket under “My Tickets” in the App), and (ii) your valid Subscription Pass.
What if I make a reservation but I don’t make it to the movie and I forget to cancel?
That’s OK! It happens.
However, please note that multiple or repeated failures to use reservations without cancelling them in accordance with Regal’s standard booking rules may be considered misuse of your Subscription and can result in cancellation of your Subscription without a refund. Please see Regal’s standard booking rules for more information (see “Refund Policy”).
Do Subscription Program members receive any other benefits?
Yes! Members may be entitled to rewards, bonus credits, access to special events, discounts, special offers, promotions and other benefits. These benefits may not be used in conjunction with any other Regal promotion or discount and may not be used to purchase alcohol. Details regarding these benefits may be made available to you via the App or in Regal’s email, SMS or other communications to you.
How do I make reservations for admission tickets?
Reservations can be made via the App. However, you may also obtain admission tickets at the box office or in-theatre kiosks for same-day showtimes.
I’m not able to make a reservation for some reason. What’s going on?
Please contact Customer Relations and we’ll help you figure it out. Alternatively, if you’re attempting to book a reservation for that day, you can obtain an admission ticket at the box office or an in-theatre kiosk.
Can I transfer my Subscription to someone else?
No. Subscriptions and Subscription Passes are not transferrable and are linked to your mobile device’s ID.
Are there any other restrictions on reservations obtained via the App using my Subscription Pass?
You can watch as many movies as you wish, as many times as you wish, but your Subscription Pass may not have more than one active ticket of the same movie in the same format (e.g., 2D, 3D, RPX, IMAX, ScreenX, 4DX and VIP). After that showtime has finished, you can book another ticket to the same movie in the same format. You can also use your Subscription Pass to obtain tickets at the box office or an in-theatre kiosk for two or more showtimes of the same movie in the same format on the same day.
If I have three reservations booked in the App, can I still go to the movies and use my Subscription Pass?
Yes. You can visit the box office or an in-theatre kiosk and use your Subscription Pass for a movie showtime on that day.
Can I book tickets for non-Subscription Program members when I make a reservation with my Subscription?
Yes! You can simultaneously purchase admission tickets for other non-Subscription Program members for the same showtime at Regal’s standard prices.
Can I cancel my reservations?
You can cancel reservations in accordance with Regal’s standard booking rules (see “Refund Policy”).
Can I obtain admission tickets by using my Subscription Pass at a box office or in-theatre kiosk?
Yes, but only for showtimes on the same day.
Friends & Family
How can I make reservations for friends and family?
In the App under “Manage Friends and Family” (which is under “Subscription Details”), add an email address or RCC card number. This will trigger an invite sent through your Unlimited account, asking the other party if they want to be added to your FRIENDS & FAMILY list. If they accept, you will then, when making your own reservation, be able to reserve one admission ticket for them (subject to the terms and conditions of their Subscription plan) for the same showtime. Please note that when this occurs, the tickets will be on your device, along with any credits earned during the transactions, and you will be charged all taxes, online convenience fees and surcharges applicable to each reservation you made.
Will I receive a decline notice?
No, it will remain pending until you delete the request sent.
Do we have to show up at the same time?
Yes, the guests must arrive at the same time to be admitted into the movie.
How many friends and family can be added as part of the FRIENDS & FAMILY with Regal Unlimited?
Up to five (5) Regal Unlimited subscribers can be added to your list. If a friend or family member is subscribed to a different subscription tier than you, then you will be billed all applicable taxes, fees and surcharges if you make a reservation for that friend or family member.
What happens if someone doesn’t accept my friend request?
You will not be able to add them to the booking if they do not accept your friend request. It will show as a pending request in your subscription details.
Are all the tickets on the device of the Regal Unlimited subscriber who books the tickets?
Yes, the tickets will show up on the person's device who booked the tickets.
How do I cancel my Subscription?
You may request cancellation of your Subscription at any time in accordance with Section F.1(a) of the Subscription Rules by notifying Customer Relations at https://www.regmovies.com/rcc/contact-us. Please note that except for cancellation by you in certain limited circumstances described in Sections F.1(b) or G.1(b) of the Subscription Rules, your Subscription cancellation will not take effect during, and you will be responsible for all Subscription fees for, the three-month or one-year (as applicable) initial term of your Subscription. Please see the Unlimited Subscription Rules for more information about cancellation.
Why was I charged for my Subscription after I requested cancellation?
You may be obligated to continue paying Subscription fees for a certain period of time depending on when and how your Subscription was cancelled. Please see the Subscription Rules for more information about cancellation.
Can I get a refund if my Subscription is cancelled?
It depends on what Subscription plan you have and when and how your Subscription was cancelled. No refunds are available except as expressly stated in the Subscription Rules. Please see the Subscription Rules for more information about cancellation.
Relationship Between Your Subscription Plan and Your Crown Club Account
How is the Subscription Program different from the Crown Club?
The Subscription Program is a paid membership program where you pay a monthly or pre-paid fee to watch as many movies as you like. The Crown Club is a free rewards program where you earn credits for purchasing admission tickets and concessions and redeem such credits for rewards.
Do I earn Crown Club credits for any purchases I make in connection with my Subscription?
One hundred Crown Club credits will be earned for every $1.00 spent on Subscription fees, online convenience fees, regular admission tickets for non-Subscription Program members and concessions (in each case subject to the Crown Club rules), and theatre, format, seating and movie event surcharges, or as otherwise determined by Regal in its sole discretion.
What happened to my Crown Club digital card in the App? I don’t see it.
Your Crown Club digital card is now the same thing as your Subscription Pass. You may use your Subscription Pass just as you would your old Crown Club digital card to earn Crown Club credits and redeem them for Crown Club rewards.
Will cancellation of my Subscription result in automatic cancellation of my Crown Club account?
No. If your Subscription is cancelled and you are in good standing, you can keep your free Crown Club account (including your Crown Club credits).
Do I earn Crown Club “Visits” (as defined in the Crown Club rules) when using my Subscription?
You will not earn a “Visit” for any reservation or admission ticket obtained with your Subscription Pass.
If I have a Subscription, can I cancel my Crown Club account without cancelling my Subscription?
No. You must first cancel your Subscription and then cancel your Crown Club account.
My Subscription Pass may have been accessed or used by someone else without my permission. What should I do?
Please immediately contact Customer Relations. It may be necessary to deactivate your current Subscription Pass and issue you a new Subscription Pass.
Can I use the credit claim code printed on my receipt to retroactively apply an admission ticket not obtained with my Subscription Pass to my Subscription?
No. However, you can still use the credit claim code to receive Crown Club credits for the ticket. Please see “I forgot my Card and Card number. Will I still be awarded credits for my purchase?” on our Crown Club FAQ page for more information.
Can I add my Subscription Pass to Apple or Google Wallets?
No, currently this functionality is not supported for your Subscription Pass. You can, however, use Apple Pay to make payments on the App.
