As they look set to make the leap to the movies with Birds of Prey, just what is the deal with these hyenas?


With this new season of rebooting old movies, we keep our eyes and ears peeled for the next movie title to receive a makeover. Until then, we have taken the liberty of putting together a list of 5 movies that we would love to see as reboots, just to let all of our imaginations run a little wild.


Ewan McGregor stars as Danny Torrance in the Stephen King adaptation Doctor Sleep, the follow-up to the widely acclaimed movie, The Shining (1980). We find the now grown Danny in his forties and still recovering from the trauma of his near-death at the Overlook hotel in his youth. From the Doctor Sleep trailer, it appears that Danny will be returning to the Overlook Hotel to confront the evils that haunt him, as well as his counterpart, Abra (played by Kyliegh Curran).


After directing the most successful Thor movie to date, Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Taika Waititi sets his sights on the greatest conflict the world has ever seen, World War II. Waititi brings the same comedic touch that helped revamp Marvel’s formerly austere God of Thunder to the gravitas of war, creating a uniquely original satire, Jojo Rabbit, starring himself, Roman Griffin Davis, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, and Stephen Merchant. Jojo Rabbit comes to Regal on October 18th.


On November 15, legendary actors Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen will share the silver screen together for the first time in the upcoming drama from New Line Cinema—The Good Liar. Warner Bros. Pictures recently released the latest trailer, revealing a number of interesting plot points and potential twists.
