Stanley Kubrick's The Shining (1980) has been widely considered as the best big-screen adaptation of a Stephen King novel and has built up one of the largest cult followings in movie history—and for good reason. With the release of Doctor Sleep (the long-awaited sequel to the classic King story) set to arrive at Regal on November 8th, we wanted to pay homage to the movie’s powerful predecessor.

It's been a few years since Robert Eggers made his arrival to the industry with his debut movie, The Witch (2015) (fully titled The VVitch: A New England Folktale), a mystery/horror that earned him a lot of recognition at Sundance in 2015 and is still ranked as one of the top horror movies of the decade by many cult fans and genre buffs. Ewan McGregor stars as Danny Torrance in the Stephen King adaptation Doctor Sleep, the follow-up to the widely acclaimed movie, The Shining (1980). We find the now grown Danny in his forties and still recovering from the trauma of his near-death at the Overlook hotel in his youth. From the Doctor Sleep trailer, it appears that Danny will be returning to the Overlook Hotel to confront the evils that haunt him, as well as his counterpart, Abra (played by Kyliegh Curran).

With the release of Zombieland: Double Tap set for October 18, we thought we would highlight some of the best zombie movies of all time!
Lovers on the run, Mickey and Jules, head south to Florida in search of a fresh start, committing crimes along the way in true Bonnie & Clyde style. After breaking into a nearby house for a new set of wheels, Mickey and Jules stumble upon a dark secret kept by a pair of homeowners, George and Gloria, who will do anything to keep it from getting out.
The core cast from the original movie—Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin—are all reprising their roles as Wichita, Columbus, Tallahassee, and Little Rock, respectively, as is director Ruben Fleischer. The question is, will this long-awaited sequel be the end of the franchise? Or is a third Zombieland on the table? It very well could be, but that all depends on how audiences respond, says Fleischer.
In September, audiences will return with the Losers' Club to the sleepy town of Derry, Maine for IT Chapter Two. A sequel to 2017's IT, IT Chapter Two sees the Losers' Club all grown up but still working through the trauma of their childhood encounter with Pennywise the demon clown, as they are forced to return to their hometown to try and stop his reign of terror for good.
