Regal Private Watch Party FAQs

Regal is excited to offer movie fans the opportunity to book Private Watch Parties.  For as little as $99.99, you can book an entire auditorium for a Private Watch Party of your choice of film.  Below are answers to frequently asked questions about this new program.

Q: What is a Regal Private Watch Party?

A: Booking a Private Watch Party allows you to host a movie screening in a dedicated Regal auditorium for only your invited guests. Imagine bringing your friends and family together to watch either a classic fan-favorite or a new release movie.


 

Q: How many people can I bring?

A: You can bring up to 20 total people, including yourself.


 

Q: What movies can we watch?

A: To see what movie titles are available, simply select the theatre you want to book then click on the Private Watch Party feature. After selecting your desired showtime you'll be offered a selection of available titles to pick from. Pricing for each will be listed next to the titles.


 

Q: How much does it cost?

A: The booking cost for a classic movie is only $99.99, and the price for a new release is $250.


 

Q: Is there an additional charge for films in premium formats?

A: At this time Private Watch Parties are only available in standard formats.


 

Q: How far in advance can I book my Private Watch Party?

A: Reservations must be made 24 hours prior to the selected showtime.


 

Q: What do we need to do as we arrive for my Private Watch Party?

A: Please have your entire group (of up to 20 guests) arrive at least 15 minutes before your designated Private Watch Party showtime. The movie will begin promptly at that time.  Please have your confirmation email or ticket QR code ready for the theatre staff. When your movie is over, please ensure that all guests exit the auditorium promptly, so our employees have time for our enhanced cleaning and sanitizing before the next showing.


 

Q: Are children allowed to attend?

A: Absolutely! Please note that children of any age (including infants) count in your guest total, as the state and local safety guidelines also count them.  For safety reasons, your Private Watch Party should always have adult supervision of minors in the auditorium.  Also, guests under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. 


 

Q: Where can my guests sit inside the auditorium?

A: Each guest can select their own choice of seating within your designated Private Watch Party auditorium. Per the CDC social distancing of at least six feet is recommended between guests that are not in the same households.


 

Q: Can we use our phones or talk during in Private Watch Party auditorium?

A: You paid for a private screening, so it's not a public showing. In this unique setting, we'll leave that 'policy' decision up to you.


 

Q: Do Regal Crown Club members earn a visitation for booking a Private Watch Party?

A: Yes! Just like regular ticket purchases, the account used when booking the Private Watch Party will gain one daily visit moving you closer toward higher Regal Gem Status, and more rewards.  Remember that you will need to be logged into your Regal Crown Club account at the time of your purchase to earn this visit. Q: Can we decorate the auditorium or bring in our own food or cake?

A: Due to safety and cleaning concerns as well as overall movie presentation-quality, decorations are not permitted in the auditorium, nor is any outside food or drinks. 


 

Q: Are there any restrictions?

A: Private Watch Parties are only available for a limited time and at participating theatres. They are for private use only, therefore seats and tickets cannot be resold. No tax exemption or credits applicable. No substitutions or rain checks are available. Pricing subject to change and does not include tax or applicable online fees. Offer includes auditorium rental for film selected at the time of purchase only, no substitutes possible.


 

Q: What is Regal doing to keep guests and employees safe? 

A: The safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and communities is a top priority. All Regal theatres are CinemaSafe, which includes enhanced cleaning protocols, daily health screenings for our employees, and health safety protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Q: Do we need to wear masks?

A: Yes. For the safety of our guests, employees, and communities, we require that face masks be worn throughout our facilities. Masks may only be removed when eating and drinking inside the auditorium.
