Synopsis: In 1971 , Bangladesh gained its Independence after a blood soaked nine months of struggle. Film "Sphulingo" (The Spark) tells a story of friends who are in a College Band - who wants to sing songs of that struggle but is prevented by the College Principal to do so. They defy the Principal inspired by reading the life-story of the father of the nation. Released in Dhaka Bangladesh on the eve of March 26th Independence Day , the Film celebrates 50 years of the country's Independence.
