  • When the credits are over, Giovanni (leader of Team Rocket) is seen walking down a hallway full of notes and ancient pictures of Mew. Giovanni enters a secret room with a special password and Mewtwo appears with full battle armor. Giovanni last words before the end of the scene was "Let's Begin" with a evil smile.
  • Giovanni (Team Rocket's Leader) is seen in the movie standing next to Mewtwo.
  • All of Ash's previous companions (besides the Sun & Moon characters) all have cameos in the end credits.
  • Pikachu is seen speaking marking this the first time he is able to speak.
