This is a story of a poor jaat family in punjab... Jeeta is an electrician in the village who has responsibility for the family. Wanting his younger sister to get married he delayed his own wedding. Jeeta's uncle and family stay put in the next door. Mitha being only son of Jeeta's uncle, along with entire family to established a neck to neck socialites standing. Jeeta refused the proposal but when he saw the girl, he ends up liking her. Jeeta plans of constructing a big house. He got the idea of taking the loan under the cause of dairy farm, which leads him to grave tension. Eventually the loan inspector finds the truth about lying and all. The loan inspector arrives with the police, exposing the reality, making sure the truth comes to life, upon which Jeeta and Mitha look down upon the government rulings and share their feelings of helplessness. The whole village supports them, as a consequence of which the inspector has to return back.
