The Regal Foundation will grant funds only to those organizations benefiting persons suffering economic, social, physical, or educational hardship or disadvantage, or who are otherwise in need of charitable, scientific or educational support or assistance, so long as such organizations are (i) organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, or educational activities and (ii) qualify as organizations exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, (the “Code”) and are described in Section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) of the Code.
The Regal Foundation offers a limited number of grants each year. The amount of money available is determined by the success of the Stars of Hope fundraising campaign. Grants are administered and evaluated 3 times per year. The Regal Foundation reserves the right to make changes to its grant process or its program criteria at any time.
In order to be eligible for a Regal Foundation grant an organization must:
An initial paper review of applications will be conducted. The Board of Directors may allow or require individual applicants to appear to make oral presentations. The Board may also request or require additional information regarding an individual applicant and/or its proposed use of funds.
