We are happy to announce that our new location in Little Rock will include an auditorium fitted with the new giant screen all-digital format called the Regal Premium Experience (aka "RPX")! But what is it? Here's how our president and COO Greg Dunn describes it:
"RPX provides moviegoers with a world-class screen presentation complemented by a unique and powerful surround sound system. RPX delivers an impressive presentation that is attractive to patrons who are seeking the highest quality environment."
We like to think that RPX presents movies "the way filmmakers intended" with powerful, uncompressed surround sound and bright eye-popping images in 2D and RealD 3D. You will enjoy the custom-built premium environment featuring elegant and luxurious seats with high-back headrests, a giant immersive screen illuminated by high-quality digital projectors and completed with a state-of-the-art sound system for the best picture you've ever heard!

Regal technicians individually design each RPX location to provide an enhanced experience in sight and sound. The Regal Premium Experience will include a massive screen stretching more than 50 feet wide. The brightest, clearest images possible are delivered to the screen by a massive digital projector with new enhanced RealD 3D light doubler technology. The digital audio system will surround moviegoers in a specially designed speaker array providing pinpoint sound. This powerful sound system incorporates dozens and dozens of different loudspeaker components including 21-inch subwoofers for deep resonating bass.

Plans Announced for All-New Regal Cinemas at Little Rock's McCain Mall

We're happy to announce that construction is underway at our new theatre complex at Little Rock's McCain Mall retail center. The all-new theatre will contain 12 auditoriums, including one outfitted with RPX: Regal Premium Experience, a spacious lobby and state-of-the-art concession stands. We hope to be complete before the end of the summer, but a Grand Opening date has yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
