Synopsis

Individually, Italians and Canadians are responsible for the most inconceivable horror movies to ever burn their way onto the surface of our collective brains. So what happens when some lunatics from Italy make a KING KONG rip-off in Montreal that features a three-story Sasquatch who looks like Hacksaw Jim Duggan auditioning to play bass for The Village People? You truly have no idea. YETI: THE GIANT OF THE 20TH CENTURY is sleazy, disco-ridden chaos that asks us to suspend disbelief in ways that we never thought possible. Filled with shockingly cheap effects -- including a scene where the Yeti uses an enormous fish carcass as a comb -- this is either the most courageous or deluded project in cinematic history. Don't miss the part where a lumberjack says: "Get out of the way, he's got a tree!" (Joseph A. Ziemba)
